Katie Swenson - Owner and Physical Therapist


Katie has been practicing physical therapy since 2015 following receiving her doctorate in physical therapy from Creighton University. Katie’s experience as a collegiate athlete playing volleyball at Northwest Missouri State University and the University of Hawaii at Hilo led to her interest in physical therapy and the rehabilitation of injuries. To further enhance her knowledge, she received her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Certification in 2016 from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She has special interest in treating orthopedic injuries of the shoulders, knees, and hip joints, both surgical and non-surgical. She has worked closely with physicians in the Chicago area to develop post-operative protocols following hip labral repair, rotator cuff, and Tommy John surgeries. Katie has a special interest in treating hip related conditions including hip scope labral repairs. She has a significant amount experience in the rehabilitation of high-level athletes including those at the high school, collegiate and professional levels.  Katie is originally from Omaha, Nebraska and enjoys spending her free time exploring Chicago, working out, and spending time with her cat.

Tom Dyke - Owner and Physical Therapist


Tom has been practicing physical therapy since 2013 after receiving his doctorate from Saint Louis university. His practice has focused mainly on the treatment of orthopedic injuries including non-operative and post-operative care. He enjoys working with injuries involving the shoulder, knee, hip, spine, and the tempomandibular joint. Tom also treats individuals impacted by vestibular issues, as well as post concussion symptoms. Tom became board certified as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in 2017 and is certified in the treatment of both vestibular and concussion related issues. Tom enjoys working with patients and establishing goals for each individual and utilizes a variety of manual and exercise based interventions. Tom is originally from Chicago and is excited to provide physical therapy services to the community. In his free time he likes spending time with his family and training for triathlons.

Katee Housner - Bucktown Clinic Director

Katee received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019 from Saint Louis University. She grew up in the Chicago suburbs and has been working in the city since the completion of her degree. Katee is a former Division I collegiate swimmer, in addition to running track and cross country competitively until college. She experienced numerous injuries throughout her athletic career, which gave her valuable insight into the role a physical therapist plays in enhancing a person’s quality of life. Her own personal journey with physical therapy ultimately ignited her passion to pursue a career in this profession. Katee’s primary goal is helping patients reach their full potential by applying personalized care reflecting each individual's goals. She is focused on providing education that extends beyond treatment in the clinic to ensure patients are engaged and active in their care. Katee has experience treating a variety of patient conditions and ages, including orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric experience. She has completed Hermann & Wallace Level 1 Pelvic Floor course and enjoys treating a variety of women’s health issues that can impact quality of life. As an endurance athlete herself, Katee has taken a special interest in the injuries that can occur in running, biking, and swimming. She is a certified level 1 running gait analyst and is a certified pro bike fitter from the Institute of Clinical Excellence. Katee also has international experience having worked as a student physical therapist at a rehabilitation hospital in Italy. Outside of the clinic Katee enjoys swimming, running and biking along the lakefront. She has 15+ years of experience volunteering with local adaptive sports charities and is the Vice President of the Young Professionals Board for Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association and an adaptive swim coach.
